Social Media Compliance
SOME SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN, so pay attention.
As our business continues to grow and gain attention, more eyes are on us and we need to be especially mindful of how we show up and communicate.
Right now, regulators are cracking down on the illegal sale of peptides. This is important & necessary for consumer protection. The challenge is platforms like Meta don’t always distinguish between natural products & prescriptions, so accounts are being flagged or even shut down.
Because of this, it’s critical that we stay aligned and protect both the brand we’re building and our personal brands.
Here’s the foundation we need to return to:
We are not using social media to sell.
We are using social media to connect.
Your posts are not a cash register, they are a doorway. A doorway that invites someone to say, “Me too… tell me more.”
From there, the conversation can move into the DMs where we can support and help people individually or even have an auto response system set up inviting them to any of our resources and to be a part of our community.
The more we “broadcast” or sound promotional, the more we risk being grouped into categories that don’t reflect who we are.
Helpful language to use:
-
Cell signaling technology
-
Metabolic support
-
BPPS
-
Support tools
Most importantly, share YOUR personal experience.
Use product names in a natural way:
“I feel energized.”
“I’m more focused.”
“I’m getting FIT!”
Example approach:
“Are you on a weight loss regimen with your doctor and experiencing nausea, low energy, or muscle loss? I have a support tool that can help you maintain strength and muscle. Comment ‘SUPPORT’ and I’ll share more.”
